It’s meant to be a more Japanese batman – wearing a kimono etc – this whole project was really started by Kei being angry about how fake/wrong the “Tibetan Ninjas” bit in Batman Begins was.
…Yeah, those didn’t seem right to me either, though, admittedly, it did take me a while to realize it. And it was only after I posted my comment earlier that I realized his outfit was a kimono. And I have to say, that sort of outfit only makes the Dark Knight (Batman’s other title, not the movie) look even more awesome than in any of my memories of the 90’s cartoon. I honestly want to see where this leads.
